Windows 10 has arrived and is here for all to use on their desktop/laptops (via upgrade from Win 7, Win 8, Win 8.1). Now Microsoft is bringing the platform to their smartphones soon. Currently, there are some pre-selected Microsoft Lumia handsets (formerly Nokia Lumia) that will be getting the first rollouts of Windows 10 for mobile. More on that list later, but what this means for users with these devices is that they can expect Windows 10 Mobile to bring the same continuity that the desktop version brings. You will have access to universal apps, a redesigned Action Center, the brand new Microsoft Edge Browser and plenty more for the Microsoft Lumia devices. If your device isn’t on this list, hang tight, Microsoft will be pushing out more devices updates in the near future.

The following Microsoft Lumia devices will receive Windows 10 Mobile first:

  • Lumia 430
  • Lumia 435
  • Lumia 532
  • Lumia 535
  • Lumia 540
  • Lumia 640
  • Lumia 640 XL
  • Lumia 735
  • Lumia 830
  • Lumia 930
