Expect A Foldable 5G Phone From Huawei On February 24th

It looks like 2019 is the year of foldable phones and Huawei is in on it.

Huawei just released their Mobile World Congress invite for this, and it’s obvious that they’ll be debuting some foldable device of some sort. We’re barely catching up with the Punchole camera trend and now foldable smartphones seem to be the new fad. The new device will get its official debut at MWC 2019, scheduled for Sunday, February 24th, at 2PM Barcelona time / 8AM ET.

If the teaser invite is not enough for you, Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu confirmed an MWC launch last week “We look forward to seeing you in Barcelona in February, where we will launch the world’s first 5G smartphone with foldable screen,”. I hope they still take first place because Samsung is launching its bendable handset a full four days ahead of Huawei on February 20th. The Mobile World Congress fever is upon us, so teaser, ads, invitations are leaks of upcoming innovations will be flooding your timelines.
