Google just revealed its plans to make Hangouts on desktop better. The new Hangouts Chrome App for Chrome OS and Windows keeps your conversation accessible alongside your current task by providing you with a list of contacts and keeps your chats accessible on your desktop. The new Hangouts Chrome App also come with integrated notification that alerts you to new messages and syncs across your gadgets as long as the app is running. Also, the app now has video and voice features for voice calling from your desktop. You can grab the new Hangouts Chrome App today to experience the new features, “if you’re already using the Hangouts Chrome extension on your Chrome OS or Windows computer, you’ll also see a promo to try the new app over the next few weeks.” To be frank, it reminds me of Facebook’s Chat Bubble, see the video of the Chrome App in action below.
