If your only memory of a Peugeot car is boring, professional looking vehicle used by most government officials, then you have to change that mindset. Peugeot’s new Quartz crossover concept car for the Paris Motor show 2014 is a sporty looking high-performance CUV. It requires an outstanding engine with a total of 500 hp, a full-hybrid plug-in drive train that comprises of a combustion engine and two electric motors. With a 270HP turbo gas engine combined with two 114HP electric motors that gives the Quartz crossover gets a boosted performance, you can get 31 miles of purely electric driving.
The vehicle’s interior comes with a four passenger bucket seat, and the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit that keeps everything at the driver’s fingertips. There’s no word on the Quartz crossover concept car reaching production, at the moment, all you can do is admire the future of Peugeot’s hybrid car.
