Windows 8.1 Update Is Now Available to Download From The Windows Store

Microsoft’s update to Windows 8.1 starts rolling out today, and is free for Windows 8 owners. Windows 8 users can grab the update from the Windows Store this very moment. PC users that still use Windows 7 can get a taste of Windows 8.1, which definitely comes with a price tag.  Those coming from Windows 7 will need to get Windows 8 for the regular price $119, or $199 for Windows 8 Pro, in order to be eligible for a Windows 8.1 update.

Microsoft also confirmed that there will be a boxed version of the Windows 8.1 in stores tomorrow, so PC builders could get a piece of the cake too. The Start screen in Windows 8.1 is more customizable than ever with new tile sizes, also comes with better Multi-tasking feature that lets you run up to four apps side by side with flexible windows sizing for each app on the screen. The upgrade also brings updates to Mail, Calendar and XBox Music apps. You can hit source link below to grab the upgrade for your Windows 8 PC.
