Some updated information found on Apple’s page on iOS 8 Continuity feature now states that the iOS 8 SMS Continuity feature won’t arrive until October. The iOS 8 SMS Continuity feature which was announced and demonstrated at Apple’s WWDC event in June allows users users to make calls, send and receive SMS and MMS text messages from an iPad or Mac. The recent delay could have been held up to coincide with the release of OS X Yosemite this fall, which means the feature won’t be available on iPad when the new iOS lands. iOS 8 to launches on September 17, one more month of wait for the iOS 8 SMS Continuity feature won’t do you or your devices any harm.
