Mazda is now hosting a new pre-order event for their new 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata. The goal is to give Miata fans a chance to own 1 (out of 1,000 available) special Launch Edition 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata before they ran out. The last time Mazda did a pre-order for a vehicle was for its 25th Anniversary MX-5 Miata and only 100 were available, and all were sold in 10 minutes flat.
If you decide to pay the $500 deposit towards the purchase of the vehicle, you will receive the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata painted in a glorious “Soul Red,” interior nicely covered with a Sport Tan leather and a six-speed manual transmission (six-speed automatic is also available, but that’s playing it safe).
Pricing for the new Miata is set at $30,495 for the manual transmission and $31,570 for the automatic version.
Remember, act quickly, if you miss out you’ll see your best bud driving in one of these babies. A local Mazda dealer in my town has already sold out of the manual versions so don’t be surprised if all you see available is automatic.
