Marvel has posted the official Avengers: Doomsday Special Look. In its D23 recap, Marvel says Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, and Hayley Atwell unveiled the clip. They also unveiled a new poster at D23. Also, the same footage is now on the official Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel. Meanwhile, the film opens December 18.
The clip is about Victor, not just the mask
The official Special Look is not a recut of the July trailer. Instead, it spends most of its two minutes on Victor von Doom. A woman who sounds like Sue Storm says Victor was always the smartest guy in every room. Then she adds that he used to be kind, and that everything he loved was taken from him.
After that, a man who sounds like Reed Richards asks, “Victor, did you do this?” Then Doom answers that the heroes have lived stolen lives. Now they must give them back. Thor then warns that Doom will beg for hell long before Thor grants it. Finally, Doom’s last line is the one Marvel already put on the title card: “Hell answers to me. For I am Doom.”
Marvel’s official movie page still describes the plot in one line. Heroes from three distinct universes collide, then face an existential threat. Specifically, that is marketing language, not a spoiler sheet. The clip does not name which universe each hero is from. It also does not confirm how Steve Rogers or Peggy Carter return.
D23 also dropped a new poster
Marvel says the same D23 stage also unveiled a new Avengers: Doomsday poster. Specifically, Doctor Doom stands at a green window, one hand on the glass. The tagline under the title is “December 18, 2026 is Doomsday.”

On stage, Atwell teased the crowd about a happy ever after. Evans then said Steve Rogers was so close to getting his at the end of Avengers: Endgame. “We should’ve known better,” he added. Marvel also posted official photos of Evans, Downey, Atwell, and Kevin Feige on that stage.

Hugh Jackman also crashed the presentation with a video message. Marvel quotes him asking if the studio needs help rounding out the cast. He then says he might convince Ryan Reynolds to appear. That is a stage bit, not a confirmed credit. Marvel’s published cast list still does not include either name.
December 18 is still the date
Anthony Russo and Joe Russo direct. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz produce. Also, Marvel’s official cast list still names Downey, Evans, Hemsworth, Pascal, Rudd, Mackie, Pugh, and Kirby. The rest of the already announced ensemble stays on that page. Tickets are on sale through Fandango.
This drop sits next to the rest of Marvel and Disney’s 2026 calendar. Earlier this summer, Marvel locked an X-Men ’97 Season 2 date and New Mutants teases. Meanwhile, D23 also greenlit a Kingdom Hearts anime for Disney+ and Disney Channel. The Special Look is the Avengers piece of that same weekend.
Until December 18, this clip is the official footage. It is not a full second trailer, and it does not replace the July teaser. Still, Marvel has now put the leaked Doom accent on its own channel. The “I am Doom” sting is official too.
