While other phone manufacturers are contemplating jumping on the slider phone band-wagon, Lenovo just doubled down on the concept and announced their second sliding phone the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. Unlike the mid-range Z5 Pro that was launched last month, Z5 Pro GT is considered a high-end device and it packs a whopping 12GB of RAM and some impressive spec.
Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB storage, 6.39 inch 2,340 x 1,080 OLED display, 16 megapixel + 8 megapixel front cameras, 16 megapixel + 24 megapixel rear cameras, NFC, and a 3,350mAh battery.

For those in the US, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT also lacks LTE support. Lenovo will begin taking pre-orders for the Z5 Pro GT starting January 15th, 2019. The price starts at 2,698 yuan or around $390 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version will set you back 4,398 yuan (about $640) $390.
The company also announced the cheaper Z5s which could be mistaken for the Huawei P20 Pro. The Z5s is powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset, and it packs up to 6GB of RAM plus up to 128GB of storage. The Z5s also features a 3,300mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual nano SIM slots (one of which doubles as a microSD slot). For cameras, Lenovo outfitted the Z5s with a 16MP f/1.8, 8MP f/2.4, and 5MP f/2.4 camera setup on the back to offer 2x telephoto zoom and bokeh shots, and a 16MP f/2.0 camera front-facing shooter. This is available for pre-ordering today starting from 1,398 yuan or about $200 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
