AT&T’s BlackBerry Passport Looks Better With Rounded Corners

I really love BlackBerry’s perseverance, at CES 2015, BlackBerry held a small press conference to announce their release of the BlackBerry Passport Classic on AT&T. Trust AT&T to always want their devices differentiated from other networks. The BlackBerry Passport on the AT&T comes with rounded corners. CEO John Chen explained the reasoning for the change as reported by CrackBerry: “AT&T wanted rounded corners. Some of us are more square. No other reason than that.”

The AT&T BlackBerry Passport will be available in the near future, no dates assigned yet. You can get the Passport for $649.99 off-contract, or $200 on-contract, $22 per month on a Next 24 plan. The AT&T variant of the BlackBerry Passport comes with same 4.5-inch display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 32GB of storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front cam as seen in the regular Passport, with the exception of a fourth row of hardware keys. AT&T finally issued a statement for the price of its BlackBerry Classic variant, you can get the device for $50 on-contract, $14 per month on Next 24 and $420 outright. There’s also no concrete launch date for the device.
