There is already plenty of hype from the upcoming Call of Duty: World War II game by Activision and Sledgehammer Games, mostly because the game is going to be based on the second World War. But several fans have decided to reach out to Michael Condrey of Sledgehammer Games on whether there will be any female characters in the game and he has confirmed that there will be playable female soldiers in the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: WWII.

This isn’t the 1st time that female soldiers were playable in a Call of Duty game, Call of Duty Ghosts had them back in 2013 via a multiplayer update, of course, there was a different studio involved at that time – Infinity War. Regardless, Activision and Sledgehammer Games are willing to bet that they will take this game in the right direction. Now female players can join and strap up and defend their turf in Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer mode.

More information about the Call of Duty: WWII game will be unveiled at E3 2017 in June of this year where the campaign and multiplayer modes will be displayed for fans all over.

Until E3, make sure to put in your pre-order at your local Gamestop and grab up your own Call of Duty: WWII Limited Edition Hat. I picked mines up yesterday.
