If you know where to look, you’ll get some information on LG’s next device the G6 that’s set to be revealed next month. With February 26th set aside for the unveiling of the G6, we’ve also learned that LG is abandoning the modular design of last year’s G5. If you are an LG fan, you’ll be pleased with the picture posted by The Verge that gives us a better view of what the LG G6 will look like. As noted by The Verge, the G6 will feature a large 5.7-inch display with an unusual 2:1 (1,440 x 2,880) screen aspect ratio, with more emphasis on minimal bezels and rounded screen corners like those seen on some Mi devices.
The G6 reportedly comes with the usual headphone jack we all love, a sealed battery (most of us still love replaceable batteries LG!) and a waterproof design. Some design features from the G5 will be present on the G6. The G6 will sport similar rear design, dual-camera system and center-mounted fingerprint sensor just like the G5. Mobile World Congress will be in Barcelona next month, stay tuned to our Mobile World Congress coverage to find out the full details on the LG G6.
