The VITURE Pro 2 is VITURE’s newest XR smartglasses launch, priced at $299. The company marks its fifth anniversary with a lighter frame and a companion Mobile Dock Mini. Engadget first detailed the package; VITURE sells the gear on its site.

Meanwhile, the Pro 2 tips the scales at 63 grams. VITURE says that makes these its lightest smartglasses yet. The frames are also 16 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than the original Pro. Therefore, long wear sessions should feel less fatiguing on the nose and ears.

Comfort upgrades and UltraClarity 3.0

In addition, VITURE upgraded temple padding and widened nosepad options. A lens shade ships in the box as standard. Still, the bigger comfort pitch is optical. UltraClarity 3.0 pairs higher peak brightness up to 1,600 nits with a smoother field-curvature design that VITURE says looks more natural and reduces eye strain.

Each eye also gets its own diopter dial from 0 to -5.00D. So many nearsighted users can tune the image without custom prescription inserts. VITURE also retuned the gamma curve on Sony micro-OLED panels for more accurate color, according to the company.

Display specs and the Mobile Dock Mini

Display size grows to a 50-degree field of view, up from 46 degrees on the prior Pro. Resolution stays 1920×1080 per eye at 120Hz. However, these remain birdbath optics with a wired USB-C link to a phone, laptop, or dock. They are not waveguide social glasses like Meta Ray-Ban Display.

Overall, VITURE also ships a Mobile Dock Mini for $99. The dock weighs about 250 grams and is 34 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter than the previous dock. It includes a 10,000mAh battery. Gamers get a detachable magnetic adapter for Switch 2 video to glasses or a TV.

Price and where it fits

VITURE lists the Pro 2 at $299 and the Dock Mini at $99. Buy both under the fifth-anniversary collection and save $20, for $378 total. That undercuts the original Pro’s higher street price and lands near other portable XR glasses such as XREAL’s $299 a01+ launch.

Tech My Money has already covered how XREAL’s a01+ AR glasses hit the US at $299 and how Halliday G2 AI glasses put meeting tools in your line of sight. The VITURE Pro 2 chases comfort and price for private virtual screens, not always-on social capture.
