LG has just announced a new Android Wear smartwatch device named the LG Watch Urbane. The new timepiece which has an all metal body that screams premium quality, will be introduced at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
The LG Watch Urbane is a more premium version of the G Watch R with the same circular Plastic OLED (P-OLED) display; with narrower screen bezels, Gold or Silver polished stainless steel body and stitched leather bands. The bands strap can be replaced by any 22mm wide band that suits the wearer.
In terms of its purpose and according to the LG press announcement:
“As its name suggests, the smartwatch is designed for a sophisticated and cosmopolitan wearer that delivers unparalleled technology and performance. LG Watch Urbane is the perfect device for wearers looking to add both style and high-tech flare to their everyday lives.”
Specs-wise it has a 1.3-inch P-OLED display, powered by a 1.2GHz qualcomm snapdragon 400 with 412MB RAM, 4GB space of internal storage and a 410mAh battery. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 OS (and above) and water & dust resistant.
