When it comes to making a good-looking phablet, you can always count on the Asian company Huawei to deliver a spectacular piece of device. We saw the company’s follow-up model to the 6.1-inch Ascend Mate 2 (Ascend Mate 7) last year at the IFA event. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has a slightly smaller 6-inch display, letting you enjoy all the screen estate the device has to offer. The Ascend Mate 7 is Huawei’s flagship device that comes with a premium build quality, sleek design and features like the fingerprint sensor, a 4100 mAh huge lithium polymer battery in a 7.9 mm body, Cat. 6 LTE and more.
Being a phone company that makes their own chipset, Huawei packed some pretty good specs in this device, making it a flagship device you’ll want to own. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is the first smartphone powered by a super eight-core Kirin 925 SoC octa-core chipset (quad-core 1.8GHz A15 and quad-core 1.3GHz A7) processor), which uses intelligent switching to provide the perfect balance between performance and power. It also comes with a 2GB or 3GB of RAM, Mali T628 GPU, i3 low-power sensor hub, integrated LTE Cat 6 modem (downlink up to 300 Mbps) and a security engine trust zone for storing your encrypted fingerprint data. This means that the Ascend Mate 7 can pretty much take all the multi-tasking, gaming or videos you throw at it.
Huawei’s new video campaign for the Ascend Mate 7 sums up all the phones features in one fun video, you can see the video below and some stock images in the gallery.
