ASUS ProArt brought creator hardware and local AI workflows to Pier59 Studios in New York on October 21, 2026. Tech My Money attended the Creator Connect gathering. ASUS’s announced RTX Spark lineup gives that visit a wider context: creator laptops, a compact desktop and software for running AI on the machine in front of you.

Our event footage captures a ProArt GR1X component display, with its circuit board, cooling fans and copper-colored heatsink laid out for inspection. Meanwhile, a ComfyUI presentation introduced local AI workflows on RTX Spark. Those are the scenes documented here; the product overview also covers ASUS announcements beyond the New York event.

What we saw at ASUS ProArt Creator Connect

The room combined a large creative display wall with technology presentations. Our photos follow the presentation from the audience, then move in on the hardware display. The accompanying clips show the room and the exposed components from different angles.

Local AI is part of the creative workflow

Specifically, ASUS describes MuseTree as a local image and video creation tool using FLUX and Wan models. StoryCube instead handles scene recognition and media organization. Together, those applications address both making new assets and sorting footage already in a creator’s library.

Additionally, ASUS connects its creative software with Nous Research’s Hermes Agent and ComfyUI workflows. The aim is to let an agent help build or run a creative workflow. However, ASUS says model architecture, quantization, context length and available memory affect which local AI workloads a system can handle.

ProArt P16 and P14: RTX Spark in creator laptops

Meanwhile, ASUS identifies its new RTX Spark laptops as the ProArt P16 H7607BA and ProArt P14 H7407BA. Additionally, its specifications list configurations with up to 128GB of unified memory. These are Windows creator systems in ASUS’s broader lineup; the photos in this recap do not establish a particular laptop configuration as a Pier59 exhibit.

Both laptops offer OLED touchscreens with a 120Hz refresh rate. ASUS lists up to 4K resolution for the P16 and up to 3K for the P14. However, specifications and availability vary by configuration and market.

ASUS’s October 8, 2026 US announcement lists starting MSRPs of $2,799.99 for the P16 and $2,599.99 for the P14. Those manufacturer prices are subject to change; retailers set their actual selling prices.

The Amazon options below are HIDevolution US reseller configurations, each with 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. Specifically, the P16 listing includes Windows 11 Home; the P14 includes Windows 11 Pro installed by HIDevolution. They are separate from ASUS’s entry configurations and announced starting MSRPs.

ProArt GR1X: a compact desktop for local AI

The ProArt GR1X brings that RTX Spark approach to a desktop measuring 150 by 150 by 51mm. ASUS lists a Blackwell RTX GPU, Grace CPU and up to 128GB of unified memory. It positions the Windows mini PC for creators, developers and small teams working with local models and creative applications.

For example, the component display in our footage separates the board from the cooling assembly, making the physical layout visible. The video pans across the fans, heatsink and vented base. That view documents the hardware on display; it is not a sustained-load, noise or performance test.

Where the Ascent GX10 fits

ASUS also offers the Ascent GX10 for AI development and deployment. Its product page lists 64GB and 128GB memory configurations, the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip and NVIDIA DGX OS with Ubuntu Linux. In contrast, the GR1X is the RTX Spark Windows product.

The GX10 and GR1X are separate systems with different software platforms. ASUS’s GX10 page describes a preloaded NVIDIA AI software stack and support for frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX and Ollama.

However, the 128GB GX10 Amazon listing checked on October 25, 2026 was marked currently unavailable and supplied no price. The compact product card below reflects that listing; it should not be read as an in-stock offer.

What is available and what is still coming

As of October 25, 2026, ASUS’s US announcement lists P16 H7607BA and P14 H7407BA preorder options through the ASUS Store and Best Buy. However, its GR1X product page still says coming soon. The US announcement places the GR1X later in 2026, mainly in 64GB and 128GB configurations, through select premium retailers.

ASUS does not state a GR1X price or a firm shipping date on those pages. Meanwhile, the two HIDevolution laptop configurations above were listed in stock on Amazon when checked on October 25, 2026. Prices and availability can change.
