Whoop Advanced Labs now sells clinician-reviewed blood tests without a wearable membership. WHOOP’s August 18 note opens the shop to people who never bought a band. Quest Diagnostics still handles the US draws. However, tests start at about 150 dollars, so they are not free.
What you can buy without a band
The service launched in 2025 for members. Now the same panels cover cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, and inflammatory health. Additionally, licensed providers review and order the tests. Then a clinician reviews each report and adds next steps.
WHOOP says eight in 10 users find a meaningful result. More than half get findings that may need a doctor visit. For example, the company lists insulin resistance, prediabetes, and elevated lipoprotein(a). The shop page says you do not need a subscription or wearable.
You pick a panel, then book a Quest visit in the WHOOP app. After the draw, results land in that app with an action plan. Meanwhile, WHOOP compares the low end with more than 3,000 dollars for similar clinic work. That is a different pitch from a daily wearable like the Pixel Watch 5 health suite.
Galleri joins the same shop
WHOOP also added GRAIL’s Galleri multi-cancer early detection test. You get one blood draw at nearly 2,000 Quest sites. GRAIL runs the assay at its North Carolina lab. The test looks for cancer signals tied to more than 50 types. Still, it does not diagnose cancer.
A locker explainer says adults 50 and older are the intended group. It also says Galleri costs 799 dollars as a one-time annual test. Therefore you can buy Galleri without any other Advanced Labs panel. However, Galleri is a laboratory-developed test. GRAIL has not won FDA clearance for it.
Blood-marker stories already sit next to wearables on this site, including our Abbott Lingo glucose review. The app will show Galleri results beside other WHOOP health notes. A clinician still owns follow-up if a signal appears.
What the company is selling
Dr Ami Bhatt, WHOOP’s chief medical officer, put the pitch this way. “A deeper, earlier understanding of our health gives us a greater ability to shape what comes next.” She said this kind of panel often sits outside a routine physical. Instead, it lived in concierge clinics and executive physicals.
The company still sells a wearable membership for sleep, strain, and recovery. This change only unbundles the lab shop. If you want the band later, the shop says you can add one. Finally, check the official Advanced Labs page before you treat any price as final.
