Libratone is no doubt behind some of the most adorable looking speakings in the market. The Danish company just announced the predecessor to its Zipp wireless speaker and the Zipp Mini. In addition to the recently announced Zipp 2 and Zipp 2 Mini, the company is bringing Alexa voice support to both speakers. The Zipp 2 keeps the same round design that provides 360-degree audio and usual leather loop seen in most Libratone speakers.
The new speaker now has 12 hours of battery life, connects via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and it also supports AirPlay 2 for your Siri and HomeKit integration. Other connectivity features include DLNA, Spotify Connect, 3.5mm mini-jack, and a USB port. If you own a couple of Zipp 2 and Zipp 2 Mini, you’ll be able to connect up to 10 of them. The Zipp 2 and Zipp Mini 2 come in four colors: black, cranberry red, frosty gray and pine green. The Zipp 2 is priced at £279 while the Zipp Mini 2 is priced at £229, both speakers will be available on Amazon.
