Sledgehammer Games, also known as the developers of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, have announced a new game mode called. The team-based mode, “One Shot” features the Mors Railgun Sniper. Moreover, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is also getting Double XP over this Christmas weekend while gamers play in the new mode.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the latest addition to the very popular Call of Duty franchise. This game is set in the future, revolving around a private military contractor gone rogue against the state. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the best-selling retail game of 2014 in the USA.
Sledgehammer’s development team and OpTic NaDeSHoT, say that One Shot is,
“a brand new snipers-only game mode with decreased health and highly specific classes. Each of the five classes have been custom designed by our development team and OpTic NaDeSHoT, to test the true sniper skill of Advanced Warfare in this new custom mode. Each class features the MORS, a bolt-action railgun sniper, along with a variety of perks, Scorestreaks, and Exo abilities”.
One thing it doesn’t feature, however, is the option to carry a sidearm. All of the five classes are explained thoroughly, on Sledgehammer’s blog.
There is just one warning though. The One Shot mode, with Double XP, is time limited. It went live over the weekend and will remain until 9 AM tomorrow (12/29). So hurry up and find those controllers! And let us know if you have played the One Shot Mode.
