You Can Now Cast Videos From Your Chrome OS Google Drive to Chromecast

Google introduced some Android apps over to Chrome OS last week, yet the cool stuff keeps coming to Mountain View’s operating system. Today, Chrome OS just gained the ability to play your movies stored in Google Drive directly from the Video Player App to a ChromeCast. According to a Google+ post from François Beaufort, giving the new feature a go is as simple as opening the Files app, select the Drive section, play a movie and click on the new ChromeCast icon in the Video Player App and cast it to any ChromeCast connected screen. Be sure to install and enable your Google Cast Extension to access this function, the new addition comes from the last Dev Update, if you spot any bugs be sure to report it to the chromium team at http://crbug.com/new.
