The Galaxy View tablet is finally official after all the teasing and multiple leaks we’ve seen in the past few weeks. Samsung officially revealed the 18.4-inch supersized tablet yesterday. With the unconventional 18.4-inch screen, the company’s target market are cord cutters who stream a lot of their media content through streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Go. The Samsung Galaxy View tablet comes with a dedicated home screen for various media content services. The screen features a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD). Powering the Galaxy View tablet is 5,700mAh battery that gives the user up to 8 hours of video play, there’s also a nano-SIM slot for LTE connectivity. Samsung didn’t provide any pricing or availability date or regions for the Galaxy View, we hope to get more info in the coming days.
