Huawei’s event in New York didn’t reveal their US launch plans for the Huawei Watch or the P8. The company introduced the $250 Huawei P8 lite instead for the American market, making it the second Huawei phone to be sold in the US through their GetHuawei webstore. For just $250 and looks of the Huawei P8 lite, I think the company is on the right track.
Everyone who knows a thing or two about Android smartphones knows that an affordable phone with good specs will always win people over (the same approach with the OnePlus One). For just $250 the Huawei P8 lite packs a lot of punch for that price, if you didn’t know the price already, you could pay a premium price for it. The Huawei P8 lite is a dual-SIM phone that comes with a 5-inch Gorilla Glass coated 720p screen, it sports an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 2,200mAh battery. It comes with microSD slot (expandable up to 32GB) that also serves as another SIM card slot. See the Huawei P8 lite press shots in the gallery below.
