KFC is always making efforts to merge tech with food. Now they are partnering with delivery service DoorDash, to bring a bucket of the Colonel’s Original Recipe fried chicken and biscuits right to your front door. All you have to do is place your order via apps on Android, iOS or the web, then DoorDash will deliver your “KFC Fill Ups” quickly. Currently KFC offers a $20 Family Fill Up and a $5 Fill Up. DoorDash will charge you delivery fees between $5 and $7, and KFC notes that certain menu items will also cost more than actually visiting the location.
DoorDash & KFC looks to make a long-term relationship with this service. KFC joins other YUM! Brands like Taco Bell & 7-Eleven. Currently DoorDash delivers across the USA to states like California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Texas, New York, Arizona, Atlanta, Denver & more. DoorDash is looking to expand to other markets in the next few months.
