Last year, we were all surprised and shocked when Nokia launched their Nokia N1 tablet. The Android 5.0 Lollipop tablet’s design looked like the Apple iPad, but the true value is on the inside. Nokia recently announced that the tablet had finally gone on sale in China, priced at $250.
According to reports, the tablet out performed the Apple iPad mini 3 on every test taken on GFXBench and AnTuTu benchmarks. Nokia somehow has managed to blow through their entire supply of tablets (20,000) in record time at 4 minutes 2 seconds.
It seems that Nokia has attracted tons of either loyal fans or Android tech lovers in China to have such a success with a huge breakthrough in the N1 sales. Now we can’t say, that is until we can get our hands on one, but its safe to say that the build and specs of the Nokia N1 along with its attractive price could have something to do with it being sold out in under 5 minutes.
For those who didn’t read our previous article about it, the Nokia N1 features a 7.9-inch 2048×1536 display. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3580 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM, and will come with Nokia’s Z Launcher pre-installed.
