852512-804-b-original-1“This collaboration came together rather organically,” says Nathan Van Hook, Senior Design Director for Nike Football. “Our design team spends a lot of our free time playing football – both on the pitch and via video game – we’re pretty obsessed with both. We wanted to create something memorable that brings together the physical and virtual worlds.”

If you are not one of the lucky 1500 people to own a physical pair of the EA Sports x Nike Mercurial boots, you’ll get a chance to virtually unlock one on September 22 from the EA SPORTS Football Club Catalog (unlocked at level 7). The physical Mercurial x EA SPORTS boots will be available on September 26 from Nike Football App and Nike.com. Each boot is individually numbered on the heel.
