Today twenty of the major smartphone markets are very happy that they will all be able to finally sell the popular Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones. Starting today, Friday, April 10, the world will get a chance to own their own new Galaxy device that has been the talk of tech since MWC 2015.

But the Korean company, Samsung isn’t too hyped up about the release of their new devices. They are hoping for a financial turnaround from its last flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5, which wasn’t accepted well by new or previous consumers. But Samsung is expecting record-breaking Galaxy S6 shipments. But Samsung also revealed that they expect to struggle in meeting their demands for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which sports a dual-edge curved display, on account of production constraints.

The company stated at a press event in Seoul on Thursday that it believes that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will sell more devices than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Analysts say Samsung could ship as much as 50 million Galaxy S6 units this year alone.

J.K. Shin from Samsung even revealed that the company is also working on several new wearable devices and a Gear-branded smartwatch that they plan on launching soon. Shin did not give out any details about the device during the recent Seoul event, but a recent report from SamMobile noted that the company will release a smartwatch named “Gear A.” Samsung Gear A will reportedly be the first smartwatch with a circular display from the company, trying to compete with the likes of the Moto 360 and the LG Urbane. The Gear smartwatch will be launched in two versions, one with normal Bluetooth support (SM-R720) and other with 3G and voice-calling built-in(SM-R730).
