The battle of the drones is on, 3D Robotics is planning to reveal their new model on April 13th, five days after DJI plans to launch its own model. When you name top 5 companies that make amazing looking drones, 3D Robotics is sure to make the list. The tease video gives us some info of what to expect: for a baboon to unbox the drone, it means the drone will be pretty easy to set up.
The new 3D robotics drone will definitely come with first person view (FPV) flying out of the box thanks to the phone clip attached to controller giving that away. As a founding pioneer of the follow-me feature seen on most drones, I won’t be surprised to find this technology in the company’s new drone. It all boils down to which company will get the specs and pricing right.
