Xiaomi launched the Redmi 2 today, a successor of the RedMi 1S, also know as the Xiaomi RedMi 2S. The Redmi 2 comes with the similar 4.7-inch IPS display of its predecessor and packs a new 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor for extra processing power. The new device now comes with 4G LTE connectivity and a dual-SIM feature. The coolest part of Xiaomi’s new device is its price, the new Xiaomi RedMi 2S is set to go on sale on January 9th for 699 CNY ($110). The handset will be available in five color variants namely, Black, Green, Pink, White and Yellow.
