The Samsung SE790C will feature an optimized curvature design, ultra-wide quad high-definition (ULTRA-WQHD) resolution and a superior static contrast ratio (3,000:1), ultra-wide 21:9 Aspect Ratio, delivering a decent 34” of viewing real estate, which will hopefully be able to offer enhanced productivity and entertainment functionality, all packed into a premium looking, ergonomic design.
Sporting an innovative 3000R (curvature radius of 3,000mm) design in the SE790C, it will offer a strikingly different viewing experience compared to traditional flat screen monitors as well as other competitive curved monitors. The screen edges of the SE790C happen to more closely match the natural curve of a viewer’s eyes, letting you enjoy a distortion-free viewing experience, resulting in less eye strain and enhanced comfort for the viewer. Flicker Free technology also protects your eyes from the constant strain caused by flickering screens on conventional monitors so you can work and enjoy reading, playing games, watching movies, and editing photos for longer without eye fatigue.
There’s no word on pricing of the monitor from Samsung yet. But I don’t believe that it will be affordable.
