Disney has at last revealed the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. When it releases, it will be the first new Star Wars movie in over 10 years. The movie will be directed by J.J. Abram, the man who successfully brought Star Trek back to the silver screen.
If you’re a Star wars nut then go crazy and let out that fan girl scream because this is big. The movie will be featuring some of the old school cast from the original Star Wars trilogy – Harrison Ford, Warwick Davis, Carrie Fisher. The video does not dwell on the return of the old actors, instead, Disney wants to highlight the new, young talent who will be joining the Star Wars universe.
This is clear right from the start of the video, where we see young actor John Boyega as a Storm Trooper. Other new cast members joining the movie include Daisy Ridely and Maisie Richardson-Sellers. What exactly their role will be or what the main plot of the movie will be is not yet clear. However, the trailer shows plenty of classic Star Wars imagery including X-Wings, Tie-Fighters and the Millennium Falcon. We even get to see a newly designed lightsaber and a desert planet that could well be Tatooine.
