We’ve seen other companies come up with streaming sticks that only work with their devices or they’re priced too high when compared to the Chromecast. Finally, Amazon introduced a streaming stick ‘Fire TV stick’ that can compete with Google’s Chromcast in performance and price. The Amazon Fire TV stick connects to your TV through the HDMI port, gives you the “same experience” as the full Fire TV, plays games and is able to stream videos from various sources. Amazon calls the Amazon Fire TV stick “the most powerful streaming stick”, they didn’t hesitate to put up a chat to put up a comparison chat to rub it in our faces. As for the Amazon Fire TV stick’s spec, it comes 1GB RAM, 8GB of storage, dual-band WiFi, Dual-core processor and a dedicated remote control. The Stick goes on sale for $39 beginning November 19th and is currently available for preorder. If you are a Prime subscriber, Fire TV stick is on sale for $19 for the next two days.
