The makers of eBee, released a video their autonomous flying Robot fly over an alpine landscape near the Matterhorn while performing 2D and 3D mapping of up to 3000 meters. Under temperatures below 10°C (14°F), the eBee performed linear landings in deep snow.
The Ultralight flying Robot comes in a carry on sized case, detachable wings all in the box, 16MP camera, electronically integrated and controlled, 45 minutes of flight time, a software lets you plan, simulate, monitor and control the UAV’s trajectory both before and during flight. So if you are into Surveying, Mapping, Construction, Geospatial, etc then this is a cool stuff for you.
