Popular coffee brand Starbucks has decided today to partner up with popular streaming service Spotify, to build a one-of-a-kind music ecosystem, that will go across all Starbucks retail stores globally. With these two giants forging a brand empire together, the goal for both brands should be to create a great listening experience that will benefit loyal customers that belong to the My Starbucks Rewards program.

SpotifyBeing a member of this special program will allow you to earn Starbucks Currency (star points) to use with Spotify Premium, and access millions of songs for offline playback (great for mobile data), no ads and no skip limits. Starbucks will also offer special playlists for you to enjoy while sipping on your caramel macchiato and taking a bite out of a blueberry muffin. This partnership should begin in the fall, this year in the United States. Canada and the UK should follow right after. Hopefully by Q4 of 2016 we will hear more news of this service expanding to other countries.
