DJI now has a newer and quieter version of its Phantom 4 Pro drone dubbed the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. The new Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. bears the appearance of the original 2016 version. The difference between both models is, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is much quieter. DJI notes that the propeller noise has been reduced by around 60 percent.

The older Lightbridge system used on the previous model was dumped for DJI’s OcuSync transmission (low-latency, high-resolution video) technology for live-streaming video. Apart from the two above mentioned upgrades, both drones come with the same design, same range, the same 30-minute flight time, and the same one-inch, 20 megapixel CMOS sensor that can record video at up to 4K/60p.

The Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is available now from DJI for $1,499, the Phantom 4 Pro+ V2.0 kit that includes a remote control with an integrated display will set you back a whopping $1,799.
