Back in January, Acer teased a new Chrome OS desktop at CES with little info about the device. Well, we have more specification and pricing information about the devices today thanks to ChromeUnboxed. The Acer Chromebox CXI3 is priced at $297.99 for the most basic spec and its available for preorder as of today.
The Acer Chromebox CXI3 can be specced out with three of Intel’s Core processor option: the Intel Celeron 3865U, Intel Core i3 (seventh-gen) 7130U, or the Intel Core i5 (eighth-gen) 8250U. The $297.99 basic model comes with 4GB of RAM, buyers have the choice to select up to 16GB of RAM. The most specced out eighth-gen Intel Core version set you back at $744.99. It has one USB-C 3.1 port, five USB-A ports, HDMI, Ethernet, and microSD. It comes with a stand for vertical orientation, and an optional VESA mounting kit mounting this mini desktop at the back of your monitor.
