Here in the United States of America, we receive lots of “unseen” cyberattacks through the interwebs more than any other country. But recently these attacks have been so aggressive lately that United States President Barack Obama has become very concerned about the safety of our computer networks here in the US. Obama wants our cyber-infrastructure properly protected and made less vulnerable. He told reporters at a recent G7 press conference summit in Germany that:
He has even demanded that Congress pass its pending cybersecurity legislation, such as the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015.
As an IT student, I totally agree with the POTUS Obama, the US has been the mockery of others when it comes to cybersecurity, and if we don’t get this issue dealt with soon, I’ll be embarrassed of our great nation.
