The Apple Watch looks good, expensive, sleek and plays well some cars too. Mercedes-Benz just joined the likes of BMW and Volkswagen with their newly announced app for your Apple Watch. Similar to the app Mercedes-Benz designed for the Google Glass, the MB Companion App for the Apple Watch focuses on providing the driver with seamless navigation from the car to their wrist. The MB Companion App lets you put in your destination on your watch or iPhone and it ports over to the onboard navigation system in your Mercedes-Benz. When you park your vehicle, your directions switch over to your Apple Watch to guide you from that spot to your current destination on foot. The navigation features are not the only thing you can do with this app, you can also pull up your cars info like fuel level, range, maintenance codes and odometer readings through on your wrist. The Mercedes-Benz app was designed by the company’s R&D center, it’s set to arrive this fall in the new C-Class and S-Class equipped with the COMAND Online navigation system. Support for other models will follow sometime after the initial launch.
