MediaCom PhonePad Duo X520 Announced In Italy

MediaCom, the Italian manufacturer, has announced a new Android, Dual SIM smartphone – the PhonePad Duo X520. The MediaCom PhonePad Duo X520 comes with Android 4.4 Kit-Kat OS but it will be receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop OS update in July of this year. Most of this devices Pros consists of useful built-in software, things like “Beauty Room” and “Mirror” can give you power over your camera and the photos you take. The “Health” app will be appreciated by all Italian Health Nuts because it carefully watches your physical condition, calories burned, heart rate, steps and others. And “Battery Saver Manager” will have to be put to the test, to verify if it indeed works.

The 5-inch phablet (1280 X 720 pixels) sports an HD AMOLED display, is driven by an octa-core processor at 1.4GHz with a measly 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, microSD card support is available (but only up to 32 GB). There is a microSD card slot onboard the MediaCom PhonePad Duo X520 for storage expansion, but it is only up to 32GB. On the exterior the beautiful designed magnesium alloy body is thin (6.9mm) and lightweight (123 grams). Gold and grey are the only colors available on this device.

When it comes to the photography peripherals, MediaCom PhonePad Duo X520 can stand tall among the other mid-range devices. The rear shooter has a 13MP sapphire glass lenses, while the selfie cam is sporting 5MP which is decent enough for selfies and video chats. “Beauty Room,” which is camera software, comes with this camera and it helps optimize your portraits. “Mirror” is also camera software that is aimed at women that like to use their smartphone as a pocket mirror.

Connectivity options on the MediaCom PhonePad Duo X520 includes – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, micro USB 2.0 and 3G; Accelerometer. Light Sensor and proximity sensor are the only available sensor options. The MediaCom PhonePad Duo X520 measures 141.3 mm x 70.6 mm X 6.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 123 grams and supports Dual SIM functionality (Micro SIM + Mini SIM).
