Your Google Glass will soon gain the ability to sync all your phone notifications at eye level, even from non-compatible apps. Google announced the new feature on the Google Glass Plus page, it’s basically the same process that allows you Android Wear to forward your notifications to your smartwatch. The new feature is out today, but Google Glass owners will have to wait for the latest MyGlass (v3.3.0) software arriving later today.
Today we’re launching Notification Sync on Glass, which means you can see your Android phone app notifications at a glance. You may have already seen this with Android Wear, but now when you put Glass on, you can get the information you need when you need it—all without taking your phone out of your pocket.Google
To get the new feature up and running, you’ll have to activate Notification Sync in your smartphone’s settings, for more info, see the video after the break.
