Dell just launched a dongle which is similar to Chromecast, the Dell Cast is a dongle that you can plug into a PC monitor’s HDMI port and it’s powered over USB. You can pair up a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard on the Dell Cast and once plugged in, it mirrors your Dell Venue tablet through a companion app for Android. You have the option to mirror your screen directly or use the Dell Cast in a a classic desktop-style layout on the larger screen. The Dell Cast dongle is available now for $80, unfortunately, it only works with Dell’s Venue series of slates or you may just need to hang in there to see if it would have a wider support before you invest in it. Dell Venue Windows based owners would have to wait until later this to get the Dell Cast support.
