The bezel-less feature of the G6 came with the interesting 18:9 aspect ratio FullVision screen. Since the new screen aspect ration was loved by many, LG has decided to put the same screen on their lower-priced phones. The Q6+, Q6 and Q6α are LG’s new lower-priced phones for midrange buyers who don’t want to spend that G6 or G6+ budget.
All three devices have an 18:9 aspect ratio on a 5.5-inch panel with a 2160 x 1080 resolution. All three phones are powered by last year’s Snapdragon 435 chip. The memory capacity differentiates the new phones,
Q6+: 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM
Q6: 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM
Q6α: 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM
All three devices are built on an aluminum frame, other features include a 100-degree wide angle front facing camera, 13-megapixel camera, LG’s new facial recognition feature, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. There’s no pricing info for any of the model or their exact stateside availability. LG noted in aa recent press release that “The LG Q6 will go on sale in key markets in Asia starting next month to be followed by availability in Europe, Latin America, and North America onward.”
