Enhance has launched Lumines Remastered on iOS and Android. In its official press note, the studio calls the mobile app a fully featured port of the 2018 remaster. Sound Games is the publisher. The app is free to try. Then the full game is 7 dollars and 99 cents, down from 10 dollars.
Touch controls, or a gamepad
Enhance founder Tetsuya Mizuguchi says he always wanted the game in a pocket. “When I first envisioned the game, it was meant to be played on the go,” he said. Instead, the studio says the touch interface can reproduce it faithfully. Players can pick from multiple touch layouts. They can also plug in a gamepad.

The official feature list is the same puzzle set from the remaster. First, Challenge Mode is the long run. Time Attack, Puzzle, Mission, Versus CPU, and two-player local shared-screen battle stay in the port. Also, Skin Edit lets players shuffle 40 stages like a playlist. Cloud saves keep progress across devices. The game includes online leaderboards. Enhance also says the first few Challenge levels are in the free trial. Compatible phones can add vibration to the soundtrack.
The original score is out the same day
Meanwhile, Enhance also posted the Lumines Remastered Original Score. Takayuki Nakamura and Katsumi Yokota’s 39-track album is on digital music services for the first time. Enhance says the mix matches the 2005 Lumines Remixes album on tracks the two share. Those tracks run house, trance, and techno. Players can find the album at ffm.to/lumines.
The mobile build uses Sound Games’ Shipmate self-publishing tool. Enhance says that is how the pair kept the launch smooth. Finally, Enhance posted store pages on the App Store and Google Play.
This sits next to other portable puzzle ports TMM has covered, from Tetris on Roku to this year’s Minecraft Switch 2 date. Until Enhance names more skins or a later sale, the official mobile story is a free trial. Enhance lists the unlock at 7 dollars and 99 cents.
