PlayStation FlexStrike and Gaming Monitor Arrive in August

PlayStation has put dates and prices on two new desk-friendly gaming accessories. FlexStrike launches August 6 for $199.99. The 27-inch Gaming Monitor follows August 27 for $349.99 in the U.S.

FlexStrike is Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first wireless fight stick. The monitor is built for PS5 players who want a smaller desktop setup. Pulse Elevate wireless speakers are also coming later this year.

Sony is clearly chasing more than one accessory sale. It wants the PS5 experience to feel complete away from the living room. That makes the fight stick, monitor and speakers feel like one setup.

FlexStrike finally has a date

FlexStrike works with PS5 and PC. Sony says broader PC compatibility will roll out after launch. The controller uses PlayStation Link for wireless play and includes a PS Link adapter.

The package also includes a built-in battery and a sling carry case. That matters because fight sticks often move between tournaments, meetups and friends’ houses.

Pre-orders start June 12 through direct.playstation.com where available. Sony timed the August release around MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls, which fits the competitive fighting-game pitch.

The monitor is a PS5 desk play

The 27-inch monitor uses a QHD IPS panel at 2560 x 1440. It supports VRR, up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240Hz on compatible PC or Mac hardware.

Its most PlayStation-specific trick is the DualSense Charging Hook. The hook lets a DualSense or DualSense Edge controller rest below the screen while charging.

Pulse Elevate still needs a price

Pulse Elevate wireless speakers are coming later in 2026. Sony has not shared pricing yet. The speakers use planar magnetic drivers, PlayStation Link, Bluetooth and a built-in mic.

The built-in mic includes AI-enhanced noise rejection. If it works well, players could keep desktop audio and voice chat in one setup. For more PlayStation timing, our earlier State of Play preview has the Wolverine context.
