While surfing the web, anyone will tell you that one of the worst quirks about browsing is the background audio that plays “surprisingly” when you click on a link. As much as a headache that it provides, Google Chrome will help you by fixing this browser-based illness. Google Chrome’s Dev Channel has recently added a new feature that prevent’s background videos and audio from automatically playing when you aren’t viewing that tab. The digital content will continue to preload (based on the sources developer) on Google Chrome, but you’ll be able to switch back and continue to experience your media. Currently, Google Chrome is the only browser that does this, but there is no guarantee that it will make it to the next update.
