Kojima Productions revealed “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” today during a GDC panel today. The head of Kojima Productions Hideo Kojima announced that Metal Gear Solid 5 is a fusion of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain as can be pointed out in the trailer. “Ground Zeroes’ is a prologue of MGSV,” Kojima said. “9 years after that event will be ‘The Phantom Pain.'” so now you can clearly see the connection. Metal Gear Solid V, is the first next-gen game running on FOX Engine from Kojima productions.
