The Withings BodyScan 2 scale is on sale in the United States starting today, July 15, 2026, at withings.com for $599.95. Withings announced the US launch in a Boston-dated press release distributed through its newsroom the same day.
The launch includes FSA/HSA eligibility. It also ships with a one-month Withings+ trial for every order. Specifically, the BodyScan 2 is Withings’s first home scale positioned as a longevity station.
The tempered-glass platform carries eight ITO electrodes. A retractable handle adds four more stainless steel electrodes, twelve in total across body and grip. Additionally, the handle now ships with a built-in color display. Users can read results while holding the device. That’s a hardware shift from the original Body Scan, which routed every reading to the phone.

What the Withings BodyScan 2 scale measures
Withings claims BodyScan 2 tracks over 60 biomarkers in roughly 90 seconds. That’s up from 40 on the original Body Scan. Furthermore, the new scale adds two cardiovascular measurements the previous generation could not perform at home.
Impedance Cardiography monitors the heart’s capacity to pump blood to the organs. Bioimpedance Spectroscopy uses a low-level electrical current. It estimates total body water, cellular age, active cell mass, and metabolic efficiency.
Moreover, the scale now flags hypertension risk. It also adds a six-lead ECG for atrial fibrillation detection. Both are new to the home-scale category.
Specifically, the platform distinguishes 6-zone segmental fat and muscle breakdown. That’s up from 5 zones on the original. It also adds a dedicated SpO2 sensor in the handle.
Furthermore, the scale produces a Health Trajectory report. The report combines the readings into one model. Withings positions the report as a longitudinal view of how daily choices affect long-term healthspan.
Buyers who want the more advanced health scores need a Withings+ subscription. Those scores include Heart Age and Glucose Resilience. Withings lists the plan at $9.95 per month or $99.50 per year. A one-month free trial ships with every BodyScan 2 purchase.
Hardware and setup
The European product page lists BodyScan 2 at 12.8 by 14.1 by 0.7 inches. BodyScan 2 supports 50-gram weight graduation between 5 and 200 kilograms.
A rechargeable battery is rated for up to 15 months on a charge. Additionally, all measurements sync automatically to the Withings app. Sync happens over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
The data set feeds Apple Health alongside Withings’s own dashboard. Withings states the device complies with GDPR and HIPAA. The company also holds ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for privacy and security.
BodyScan 2 sits one tier above the recently introduced Withings BodyFit, which launched in June 2026 at $279.95. BodyFit is the entry point into the brand’s body-composition ecosystem. BodyScan 2 specifically targets buyers willing to spend more for the hypertension flag and the six-lead ECG.
The BodyScan 2 also uses a similar retractable handle as the BodyFit. However, the BodyScan 2 adds the color display and the hypertension and ECG features that the BodyFit lacks. Moreover, BodyScan 2 shares the same clinical positioning as the premium display-on-handle design from ThermoWorks we covered earlier this year.
Availability and pricing
Withings BodyScan 2 is available in the United States starting July 15, 2026, at withings.com for $599.95. The launch price matches what Withings announced at CES 2026. Additionally, the device is FSA/HSA eligible for the US market. Furthermore, the press release confirms the one-month Withings+ trial is included with every purchase.
Specifically, the US launch follows the device’s European debut in June 2026. EU and UK press releases confirmed CE marking for the atrial fibrillation detection feature. Furthermore, Withings first unveiled the BodyScan 2 at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where it won a CES 2026 Innovation Award.
The original Body Scan remains available at $499.95. It is a simpler alternative that lacks the new hypertension and six-lead ECG features.
