WiiM Bar is the company’s first soundbar, and it brings one of WiiM’s favorite tricks to the front of the TV: a small touchscreen display.
The new soundbar is available for pre-order from WiiM’s website for $479. Wider availability is planned for July. It is a 3.0.2-channel bar with eight drivers. It also supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and a glass-covered 2.1-inch round display in the center of the front panel.
That screen is the hook. WiiM says it can handle playback controls, source switching, EQ, presets, and customization. It can also show album art while music is playing. That makes sense for a brand that already leans hard into streaming audio.

A Soundbar Built For The WiiM Ecosystem
The WiiM Home app handles the deeper controls. It supports streaming from more than 20 services, and the bar can receive audio through Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Google Cast, and other options.
Inside, WiiM uses front-facing mid-woofers and tweeters. Up-firing full-range height drivers handle height effects, while four passive radiators support the low end. The stock setup is 3.0.2. Buyers can expand it to a 5.1.2 system with compatible WiiM speakers or a subwoofer.
The Price Makes The Pitch Interesting
At $479, WiiM is aiming below many premium Atmos bars while still promising a more flexible music-first setup. RoomFit calibration is included. The bar can measure the room and adjust its output. Clear Voice Mode boosts dialogue. Night Mode lowers loud moments without crushing speech.
The catch is that specs only tell part of the story. Soundbars live or die by tuning, HDMI behavior, and how well they handle movies after the first setup rush. Still, WiiM Bar looks like a natural move for a company that already sells streamers, amps, smart speakers, and subs. Tech My Money recently covered another connected-home gadget in Withings BodyFit. WiiM is chasing the same idea from the living-room audio side: smarter hardware without making setup feel like work.
