Google confirmed this in a recent blog post, with no information on what devices will be getting it. There’s no doubting it that Google’s Nexus 4, 5, 7 (2012 and 2013) and the Nexus 10 devices will be first in line to get a taste of Android L, now would be the right time to dust off your Root-Keeper apps and stalk you system update section.
