In case you missed it, Interactive Entertainment confirmed last week that their new fighting game Mortal Kombat X would be released around the world starting 14th April. Mortal Kombat X will be available on five platforms: PC, PS4 and PS3, and Xbox One and Xbox 360. Mortal Kombat X would mark the 10th official installment of the bloody brawler franchise, the game is currently being developed by NetherRealm Studios. The game comes with a pre-order exclusive character ‘Goro,’ the legendary 4-armed series character. This is the iconic four-armed brute’s first appearance in a playable fighter since 2006’s Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. If you were a Mortal Kombat fan back in the day, you’s know how much Goro’s punch packs, if you’re eager to finally play as Goro again, you’ll need to pre-order the game prior to launch, or simply hold out to see if he becomes available in the form of paid DLC. Warner Bros. promised that Mortal Kombat X will give players the “most brutal Kombat experience.” Watch the gameplay footage from PAX below to get a feel of the new gameplay mechanics, characters and fatalities.
