Nintendo Music CarPlay Android Auto support is here, and Nintendo also opened the service up to more screens.
In a new Nintendo update, the company says Nintendo Music now works in web browsers, on tablets, and in cars through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The app remains a Nintendo Switch Online member benefit, so full access still requires a Nintendo Account and an active membership.
Music For The Car And The Browser
The car update is the headline. Nintendo says users can listen and control playlists through CarPlay or Android Auto, with voice control available in supported setups. Its support page also warns drivers not to use the touchscreen while driving.
The web player may be just as useful for people who stream game music while working. Until now, Nintendo Music felt most tied to a phone. Browser and tablet support make it easier to use the service like any other soundtrack app during the day.

My Mix And Mario Kart World Arrive Too
Nintendo also added My Mix, a personalized playlist based on listening history and play-history signals. That makes the service feel more like a modern streaming app, instead of only a catalog of game albums sorted by title.
Mario Kart World music is part of the update as well. That gives Switch Online subscribers a fresh soundtrack tie-in as Nintendo builds around its newest system cycle.
The bigger picture is that Nintendo is making Nintendo Music less like a companion app and more like a real service. You can still browse the official Nintendo Music page for membership details. For another recent Nintendo hardware-adjacent story, Tech My Money covered the Star Fox Switch 2 remake.
